Are you an already qualified VEHICLE INSPECTOR? Perhaps you’re a mechanic looking for a change?

A new and exciting position has become available within a local rapidly expanding business. With a reputation unsurpassed in the industry, we are seeking an experienced mechanic hoping to get off the tools and out of the workshop but with a passion to continue working in the industry OR an already qualified vehicle inspector looking for a change in workplace environment.

As a vehicle inspector you will conduct mobile roadworthy inspections in an allocated region.

Sunshine Coast
Mackay
Toowoomba
Gold Coast
Bundaberg
Cairns

Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting vehicle compliancy checks, brake testing and inspections whilst adhering to stringent industry standards and legal regulations on a wide range of vehicles
• Complete all relevant documentation in order to comply with all legal inspection/testing requirements, whilst adhering to all internal record keeping and document control procedures
• Operate various electronic compliancy and testing equipment to carry out inspections
• Consistently demonstrate your commitment to a high level of workplace health and safety

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience required:
• Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Full Drivers Licence
• Preference for mechanics with experience working with Motorcycles
• Approved Examiner (QLD Transport) – Roadworthy Certification (or ability to acquire with our assistance)
• RISAM301E – Test operational functions of vehicles and equipment
• AURLTB002, AURHTB005 & AURKTB002 Brake Testing qualification
